Children 4 and under admitted free, however, they require a ticket due to capacity restrictions. Please ensure you add a free Child 4 and Under ticket to your order. Please note, there are a limited number of Child Under 4 tickets available per time slot.

IMPORTANT COVID-19
INFORMATION

Under the current Provincial Health Order, The Vancouver Convention Centre requires all customers show proof of vaccination.

Beginning September 13, all guests over 12 years old must provide proof of their 1st dose. Between September 13 and 27, vaccination records provided by vaccine clinics and pharmacies will be accepted. As of September 27, only the BC Vaccine Card, printed or digital, will be accepted for BC residents. For any non-BC residents, they will be required to show applicable proof of vaccination. As of October 24, all guests over 12 years old must show proof of 2 vaccinations, using the BC Vaccine card (electronically or printed) or other Provincially/territorially officially recognized vaccine record.

 

All guests must also show a piece of government issued photo identification. Identification is only required for persons aged 19 years and older.

In the event of a temporary exhibit closure due to public health orders, all tickets scheduled during the closure will be automatically rescheduled for when the exhibit reopens.

 

When visiting Imagine Picasso, masks or cloth face coverings must fully cover the nose, mouth and chin are required. Face Shields will not be accepted if not paired with a mask. Please wear a mask at all time and sanitize your hands frequently. Please maintain social distancing at all times.

The Health and Safety of our guests, staff, and community remain our highest priority.
The exhibition is a contactless experience, taking place over 25,000 square feet at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Following guidelines from the Government of British Columbia BC’s Phase II Go Forward Strategy protocols will be in place to protect both visitors and staff members. Imagine Picasso will diligently abide by standards as set out by public health orders and guidance from health officials to provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience.
 
After careful consideration and planning, Imagine Picasso in Vancouver will be limited by operating capacity and guests will have to pre-purchase tickets ahead of time.
 
We ask that guests exercise good hand hygiene and comply with physical distancing measures including waiting in physically distanced queues. At this time, masks are mandatory inside the Exhibition. These measures have been put in place to minimize risk to all and we respectfully ask for your compliance and patience as we adjust this experience for yours and the safety of those attending.

Plan your visit

  • The exhibit lasts approximately one hour.

  • Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your ticket time. Please ensure you arrive promptly at the start time as indicated on your ticket. We cannot guarantee entry
    for guests who arrive late.

  • Imagine Picasso is a cashless exhibit.

  • You don’t need to print your ticket, just show it in your mobile device.

  • Photos for non-commercial use are allowed and we encourage you to share them. Note that tripods and flashes are prohibited.

  • Please, set your mobile or electronic devices on silent mode.

  • Please do not touch the screens.

  • Sitting in the immersion room is not allowed.

  • Do not take food or drinks into the exhibition. Smoking and narcotics are strictly forbidden.

  • Imagine Picasso is accessible to visitors in wheelchairs and to people with reduced mobility. Please visit the Vancouver Convention Centre website for more information.

  • Access is allowed with small bags that carry personal belongings and small backpacks. Luggage and large backpacks are not allowed and cannot be checked. Please leave these items at home.

  • It is forbidden to bring a musical instrument, a drone or any flying device.

  • Pets are not allowed to enter the exhibition, except service dogs.

  • The Vancouver Convention Centre offers secure parking, 24 hours a day. For

  • The gift shop is open during the exhibition opening hours.

Ahead of your visit

The information below provides what you should know before you go.


Face masks are mandatory inside the Exhibition. 
Masks will not be provided, but Imagine Picasso masks are available for purchase at the Merchandise kiosk.

 

Hand Sanitizer must be used prior to entry
The use of alcohol-based hand disinfectant is mandatory ahead of entry to the Exhibit.
Although Imagine Picasso is a contactless experience, we abide by the guidance of the Government of British Columbia who recommend the practice of good hand hygiene.
Hand sanitizer is an approved alternative when soap and water are not at available.
Please note that the Vancouver Convention Centre will have washrooms available to all attendees with valid tickets.

 

Maintain 2 meters of Physical Distancing
In order to ensure the safety of all, we ask all guests to be mindful of physical
distancing practices, signage and instruction of a Vancouver Convention Centre and Exhibition Staff. Please note that we ask you to briefly wait in a line ahead of entry into Imagine Picasso Vancouver as we manage capacity measures.

 

Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes

The Vancouver Convention Centre is ensuring that there is an increased focus on enhanced sanitation practices such as the increased frequency of cleaning at touch points such as escalators rails, elevator button doors, and washroom door handles.
Guests are encouraged to use the available hand sanitizer located throughout the Vancouver Convention Centre.

 

Occupancy will be limited and monitored
In accordance with the framework proposed by the Government of British Columbia for safely restoring services such as Museums, entry to the Exhibit will be staggered by time to ensure a safe operating capacity for guests and staff and to ensure appropriate space for physical distancing.

 

We are only accepting contactless payment methods

Guests are encouraged to pre purchase tickets in advance on our website or use the contactless payment system with our assigned Box Office Staff. To prevent any risk to the Exhibit staff, the points of purchasing through the experience will only accept contactless payments (credit/debit).

 

Symptom Free Policy
We ask guests to remain vigilant and monitor their own health in accordance with information from Vancouver Coastal Health. Guests who experience symptoms of COVID-19, the flu or a cold should not enter the Vancouver Convention Centre and should contact us at tickets@supportbsm.com for assistance in rescheduling tickets. We ask that guests seek the appropriate information applicable to COVID-19 if they suspect they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
Imagine Picasso Vancouver Staff must complete a self-health attestation and screening on arrival that clears them to work. Staff will be instructed to stay home if they do not pass a wellness check before their shift starts and sent home if they begin to show systems of COVID-19 or the flu during their shift.

 

Travel Advisory
Guests travelling to B.C. from another province or territory within Canada should abide by the the regional travel guidelines before attending Imagine Picasso Vancouver.
Those returning from international destinations are required by law to self quarantine for 14- days. Please stay connected to our social media channels to find out where Imagine Picasso will be next.

 

A safe work place for all
Abiding by principles from Worksafe BC, Imagine Picasso Vancouver will not tolerate guests engaging in abusive or belligerent behaviour toward the staff of Vancouver Convention Centre and Imagine Picasso. Guests will be directed to leave the space for misconduct and provided no refunds.

 

Leaving the Exhibition
Please do not congregate in the foyer area and we ask that those waiting for friend and family who may still be at the merchandise kiosk to kindly walk toward the exit and plan for reconnecting outside.
