Imagine Picasso immerses visitors in the groundbreaking career of the 20th century’s most influential and popular artist: Pablo Picasso. This artistic experience offers a unique look at the evolution of this prolific artist, from the evocative images of his Blue and Rose periods to his masterpieces of the Cubist and Surrealist movements, as well as the diverse and unique production of his later years. This immersive exhibition, authorized by the Picasso Administration, presents for the first time over 200 Picasso paintings, many from private collections and prestigious museums around the world.

This artistic experience is the result of a meeting between Annabelle Mauger and Rudy Ricciotti, Grand Prix national de l’architecture, both fascinated by Picasso. Together, with Julien Baron, they imagined a spectacular scenography, inspired by Picasso’s tender gaze on childhood. The image is projected onto gigantic origami, on the walls and on the floor, deconstructing and restructuring the work of the Master of Modern Art. The Imagine Picasso experience is enhanced by a carefully selected music soundtrack.

“Educational in substance and moving in form, this exhibition is a way of looking at art with new eyes,” said Androula Michael, the curator specializing in the work of Picasso. “The aim of this immersive exhibition, accessible to all, regardless of age, language, and culture, is to open the space to emotions, dreams and contemplation for everyone, even the youngest visitors.”
